Police departments across Broward County announced in Fort Lauderdale its new Countywide Anti-Texting Campaign. The Program is designed to warn drivers about the dangers of texting and driving. According to the Fort Lauderdale Police department, one of their recent studies found that texting while driving increased a driver's chances of being involved in a car wreck by more than 23 times.
