Soccer Tournament injury
I recently attended a soccer tournament at a Regional park in Fort Lauderdale over the weekend with some friends, this was the first time that I was so close to the game. I normally sit in the stands and watch the game, but at these local tournaments you are able to stand right at the side of the field you could even reach out and touch the players. The spectator was standing behind the goal when she was hit by the stray ball. She immediately doubled over and the paramedics that was on site attended to her. She was taken to the hospital for observation due to area that she was struck, although the injury seemed to be minor.
